Our previous boar was a 2009 Beneteau Oceanis 40 named “Karma.” We purchased her from the original owner in April, 2017. Fortunately, she was well cared for and outfitted smartly for serious coastal cruising. Over the last couple of years, we upgraded the boat to get her ready to handle any destination along with long offshore passages.
As of March, 2022, we have sailed Karma to the Bahamas and most recently, on a five month trip beginning with a 1,600 mile nonstop passage to Antigua, followed by cruising to St Martin, the BVI’s, USVI’s, and Bahamas. This last trip was over 3,000 miles and it was spectacular. Karma performed beyond my expectations. Nothing broke down for the entire trip. I had to replace a Navigation Light Bulb, and that was it.
